MTAPA Scholarships

Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, is home to the only Physician Assistant Program in the state.  Offering a Master of Physician Assistant studies, the RMC PA program is a 26-month program consisting of both didactic and clinical instruction.

The first 13 months of the program include the fundamental behavioral and clinical sciences required for the professional course of study, as well as courses designed to better prepare the students for expanded health care roles that meet the developing needs of today's society. The final 12 months of the program constitute the major period of clinical education, with an emphasis on primary care.

The PA program at RMC sums up the spirit of healthcare in Montana with its mission statement “to provide a quality medical education, which integrates academic training with the development of essential clinical skills and professionalism. We strive to graduate individuals who are prepared and committed to providing excellent health care services, particularly to those in rural and underserved areas of this region.”
