Western Region Conference
01/18/2008
The 19th Annual Western Region Conference is being held in Seattle, WA on January 26th and 27th. The Washington Academy of Physician Assistants is hosting this leadership conference in conjunction with their annual Re-certification Review and Winter CME Conference.
This year's Western Regional Meeting has concentrated on offering leadership information from more experienced leaders to new leaders, "Leaders Teaching Leaders" so be sure to send your new, or up and coming, leaders to this conference! They can learn how to "tip toe" through the state legislative processes (taught by Ann Davis), how to submit resolutions to the HOD (taught by Paul Robinson), how to build relationships with your state medical society, and other great topics.

Flathead Valley PAs will be getting together for a free dinner at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at the Silver Canyon Restaurant within the new Hilton Garden Hotel located on Highway 93 South.
This is the first event of its kind in the area and is designed for PAs to get better acquainted with one another over appetizers, followed later by a more formal dinner and hopefully some CME education. There are over 25 PAs in the area, many of them expressing a great deal of interest in the event.
If you are interested in attending or would like to gather some more information, contact Kally Wilson, MTAPA Director at Large, at kallywilson@hotmail.com.
